We celebrate the diversity of co-ops and co-op members throughout BC.

Here are some links and tools to help you promote and celebrate diversity at your co-op:

• CHF Canada offers Regional Diversity Grants - brochure and application form. Are you working on a project that supports diversity? Find out if you qualify for a grant. The deadline for applications is March 31.

• CHF Canada’s diversity webpage has downloadable Diversity in Action brochures specific to housing co-ops.

• The Crosspoint is the biggest collection of links in the field of human rights, anti-racism, refugees, women’s rights, and other diversity issues.

• Canadian Council for Refugees has an excellent brochure called "Facing Facts: Myths and Misconceptions about Refugees and Immigrants in Canada".

• StatisticsCanada has posted the results from a 2002 Ethnic Diversity Survey.

• The University of Calgary has a Diversity Toolkit for teachers, students and communities seeking to promote social justice and fairness.
