Voting poll shocks the (Survey) Monkey...

(VANCOUVER) Well, here are some surprising results from our in-house survey conducted last week on voting intentions. No, not who you intend to vote for, rather how you intend to vote -- or rather when you intend to vote, if you follow me. Over one fifth (21.4 per cent) of those surveyed (totalling just under 100 or so) said you have already cast your ballot or intended to during advanced polling. Very nearly three-quarters of those polled said they’d wait for Election Day on May 14. These results pretty much jive with provincial numbers which show advance polling up by 25 per cent across British Columbia. The shocking part is the nearly five per cent who say they don’t intend to vote at all. Of course, these numbers may be misleading – perhaps they meant they were voting for the Apathy Party (or is that the Work Less Party? Hard to keep it all straight).

In any case, to those of you who do intend to cast your ballot tomorrow, get out there and vote!
