CHF BC and TELUS have negotiated a partnership to provide HD TV, High-Speed Internet and Home Phone Services through TELUS Home Services for CHF BC members. The program starts in 2016.

  1. When does the Co-op Telecom Program start?  We will send an enrolment package to your co-op in phases throughout the coming year.
  2. How much do the services cost?  The range of prices for HD TV, High Speed Internet and Home Phone Services are well below the market rate. And you get a bigger discount with the special bundle price when you combine three services.
  3. What options do I have within this package?  Each member of your co-op can choose individual services or bundle them together. This is one of the most flexible programs available in the CHF BC Group Buying Program.
  4. I am a TELUS customer already, do I qualify for the program?  Yes – existing customers will qualify for the Co-op Telecom Program; but if you are in a contract with TELUS, you may have to pay out the remainder of the agreement before enrolling. With the big discounts available in the Co-op Telecom Program, it might be worth paying a cancellation fee. In fact, we will give you $50 towards the cancellation fee.
  5. I already have services with a competitor. How do I sign up for the Co-op Telecom Program? If you are in a contract, find out the terms and how soon you can get out. With the big discounts available in the Co-op Telecom Program, it might be worth paying a cancellation fee. In fact, we will give you $50 towards the cancellation fee.Will every co-op building qualify for the program? Most co-op buildings will qualify; however, some co-ops may have to wait if their buildings need upgraded wiring.
  6. Are we limited to High Speed Internet 15 and 25 and basic TV?  Members have the option of choosing increased Internet speeds and additional services like TV theme packs directly through TELUS as an add-on to the Co-op Telecom Program for a few dollars more and still receive the special pricing on the standard packages.
