Co-op Energy Survey

All co-ops were sent a detailed invitation letter and asked to appoint a representative to complete the Co-op Energy Survey. The deadline for all responses was September 30 and this was extended to October 5. CHF BC launched the survey July 22 with sponsorship from BC Hydro, FortisBC and BC Housing. The survey was developed by City Green Solutions who will also analyse the results.

Congratulations to early bird prize winner, Krisineleos Housing Co-op in Victoria. Krisineleos completed the survey before the August 15 early bird deadline. CHF BC brought free pizza to the co-op's next member meeting. All co-ops who complete the survey are eligible for other great prizes. And most importantly, by completing the survey all co-ops in BC stand to benefit with opportunities for energy upgrade funding.

All survey results are confidential and will be used only to assess energy efficiency of co-op buildings. This information will make it easier to find energy upgrade funding and match it to what co-ops need.
