Supportive Housing Rally - Richmond

A supportive housing coalition in Richmond, including local housing co-op members, is rallying in support of an initiative to build modular housing for homeless in the city.

They are calling on all Richmond co-op members to sign this petition in support of the modular housing at 7300 Elmbridge.

They've also developed a list of YIMBY (Yes, in my neighbourhood) key messages in answer to questions about the supportive housing.

You can learn more details about the proposed modular housing in this March 29 article from the online publication Church for Vancouver.

And, on April 4th from 6:30-8:45 p.m. come to the Temporary Modular Housing Roundtable to hear an open dialogue for all sides of the debate. Location: Richmond Cultural Centre (7700 Minoru Gate, Richmond, BC V6Y 1R9). For more information, please contact Henry Yao at

On April 5th at 7 p.m. join the Rally Action Group  for a sign-making party at 13631 Blundell Road (between Sidaway and No. 6 Road).
