Blog entry 88: Standing room only in Surrey, going for gold in Whistler

It was standing-room only at the Key Campaign’s meeting for South Fraser area co-ops at Birch Co-op in Newton last night. The crowd included members from more than a half-dozen co-ops from the Delta, Surrey and Langley region. Lots of good energy, CHF BC's executive director, Thom Armstrong was on fire inspiring members, as usual, and now the Key is going for gold at the Union of BC Municipalities convention in Whistler.

We’re hoping to be on the podium when the delegates from every civic government in the province debate the resolution to support the Key Campaign, calling on the provincial government to solve the co-op housing crunch.

Stay tuned for details! Maybe we’ll catch a glimpse of Alexandre Bilodeau in the village...
