Blog entry 102: Very busy, very scary!

The Key Campaign is busy, busy, busy with events from the mouth of the Fraser to the Royal City. Wednesday night, Garry Point Co-op in Steveston held the Key at a meeting for their community (which, BTW, has already passed the resolution supporting the campaign). Thursday night we visited New Westminster at a regional meeting for all eight co-ops in the Royal City. Nice news pieces in the Royal City Record and the New Westminster News Leader.

And don’t forget the Fall Education Conference on Saturday -- the Key Campaign has something planned for delegates that’s scary good!

The local media in Sidney got some inkling of the co-op housing crunch back in July when the Key Campaign held a meeting for Vancouver Island co-ops at Seawalk Co-op. Reporter Steven Heywood of the Peninsula News Review has come up with an interesting article on co-op living and the Key Campaign.
