Blog entry 84: Hurtin’ music suits co-op housing crunch story

Country 107.1, the Lower Mainland’s newest radio station, is based in Abbotsford and plays all that great hurtin’ music (like “Blame it on your pickup truck” and “Cheap wine and cigarettes”). They also have a news item on the Key campaign on how folks out in Abbotsford caught in the co-op housing crunch are gonna be hurtin’ unless the provincial government implements our proposed rent supplement program for seniors, low-income and other co-op members. BTW, Country 107.1 has a potential audience of over 300,000 people in Abbotsford/Mission, Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows and Langley.

Remember the Key Campaign is capturing the imagination of co-ops all over the valley with our You Hold the Key Campaign: Fix the Co-op Housing Crunch meeting for Surrey, Delta and Langley on Tuesday, September 23.
