Election Blog Entry 20: A warm welcome awaits in Greenland as Richmond co-ops votecoophousing.ca

Say “Greenland” and you might conjure up visions of glacier-choked fjords and that famous icecap. But there’s no warmer community than Greenland Co-op in Richmond and that’s a good thing because they’re hosting an election info-session for the Key Campaign. Find out where the major parties stand on the co-op housing crunch and discuss how to vote co-op housing. Quizz candidates like Scott Stewart (NDP, Steveston-Richmond East). AND CHF BC President and Co-op Champion Patty Shaw was busy last week, organizing a meeting with by Saanich Councillor Fred Haynes to discuss the co-op housing crunch. The meeting on Saanich-Gulf Islands candidates at the meeting included Tim Kane for the Liberal Party and Alicia Cormier for the New Democrat Party.  Elysia Glover represented Elizabeth May for the Green Party.
