Asset management policies that work

What are the results we aim for in maintenance? We'll review the core maintenance management standards and some of the tools you can use to reach them. Good tools such as policies, procedures, and forms play a critical role in co-op maintenance--from unit inspections to preventive maintenance to emergency repairs. We'll show you how to use CHF BC's Co-op Policy Manual to:

• make changes to your co-op's maintenance policies
• develop new policies and procedures that really work to keep your co-op safe and looking good
• clarify who's responsible for what in co-op maintenance.

This workshop will demonstrate how clear maintenance policies and procedures, consistently applied, are key to your maintenance management system. You will leave with a clear sense of direction and many useful tools to take back to your co-op.
