Elect the best directors – every time! (New) - Spring Education Conference 2018

Electing good and effective directors is the most important role that members have in governance. We’ll explore tools and techniques to elect the best directors as well as new provisions in Model Rules 2.0 that leave little to chance and seriously up your game before, during and after election night!

Learn how to prepare for an election and how to run a legal and rigorous election process. Every time.

Take ideas back to your co-op like a fun filled all-candidates night and a tool kit that includes a sample ballot, candidate declaration form, ethical conduct declaration and a register that tracks the election and term limits of every director.

Your co-op can set a standard of excellence with simple rule changes that result in setting the optimal number of directors and ensuring that all directors must receive a simple majority to be elected.  And if your co-op leadership is suffering burn out, find out how to invite non-resident directors to join your board.

Elections matter!  It’s easier than you think to leave little to chance.
