CHF BC welcomes new education director

CHF BC is very pleased to welcome Sophie Cooper as our new education director. Sophie joins the Federation with more than 15 years of experience as an education programmer and trainer in Canada and the UK including ten years as a community educator for a worker co-op. 
Sophie's education includes a Masters degree in Community Education from DeMontford University in Leicester, UK and a two-year post-graduate diploma in youth work and community development. She is passionate about co-operative principles and practices and excited to bring her knowledge and experience to the housing co-op sector. Sophie looks forward to meeting CHF BC members soon at spring education events on the Island and Mainland.
