Annual General Meeting registration package now online

CHF BC's 30th Annual General Meeting is coming on Saturday, December 1, 2012. Be sure to register a delegate for this important meeting. As a delegate you will be electing directors to fill five at-large vacancies on the board. You'll also be asked to vote on resolutions that will shape the future of CHF BC.  And you'll get a review of CHF BC's accomplishments including an update on our International Year of Co-operatives legacy.

All this plus lunch and birthday cake to celebrate CHF BC’s 30th anniversary.

Vancouver Rent Bank open to housing co-op members

The Network of Inner City Services Society (NICCSS) has created the Vancouver Rent Bank  to provide interest free loans for people in danger of eviction
or essential utility cut-off.  The Rent Bank has confirmed that housing co-op members who face a short term financial crisis could be eligible.
