New Long-Term Planning and Financing Services for Co-ops!

CHF BC has a history of providing valuable educational, advocacy and commercial services to its members. The Federation is now launching a new set of services to assist co-ops with making long-term plans for the future.

CHF BC has partnered with Terra Housing and Vancity. Together we’ve created a package of services to help member co-ops move from assessing their buildings to creating solid, long-term financial and operating plans. When a plan calls for new borrowing, or refinancing existing debt, CHF BC and its partners will prepare a loan application package so co-op members can access the money they need to carry out necessary work.

CHF BC is scheduling information sessions for members about the new services for Lower Mainland co-ops at the CHF BC offices on Commercial Drive. The first two sessions are set for June 19 and June 27 (both from 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm).

On Vancouver Island, the first information session will be held on June 24.

CHF BC invites your co-op board to designate up to two representatives to attend a session so your co-op can learn more and decide whether the services meet your co-op’s needs.
