This season promises to be a busy one for CHF BC members. Mark your calendars and sign up now!Member ForumWe kicked off in September with our popular Member Forum on Monday, September 15 where members gathered to network and engage in a learning session with the featured topic a presentation by CHF BC’s asset management team on asset management planning for co-ops – a part of our Refinancing and Renewal Program. There was also a lively discussion about the latest in the You Hold the Key Campaign.Model Rules 2.0We launched Model Rules 2.0 earlier this year and now we’re offering free information sessions for members. The first was held in Vancouver on September 16, with a packed crowd engaged in learning. This will be followed by a session on Vancouver Island on September 17. Then, for anyone who can’t make the first two sessions, we’re offering a webinar on September 30. Because of demand, we will be offering more information sessions on the Mainland in the coming weeks – watch our event listing for updates. You Hold the Key CampaignThe You Hold the Key Campaign continued to gain momentum with the mailing of our Campaign “mini-mag” over the summer that prompted co-ops and communities to “show some resolve” and pass resolutions supporting the campaign, co-ops to hold barbecues and invite politicians and for elected officials to ask to meet with co-op members and the Campaign team. You can get lots of details on the campaign on our Campaign blog. We’re also continuing to hold Campaign meetings for co-op members in more communities.
