CHF BC Committees

Co-op members who volunteer on CHF BC committees can:

·        learn more about CHF BC’s programs and services for members

·        help set CHF BC’s future direction by offering advice to the board and staff in key areas of the Federation’s activities.

Here is a list of CHF BC committees and a short description of what each committee does:

Diversity – promotes diversity, respect and inclusion among CHF BC members, staff and the wider community

Education –  offers advice and feedback to help ensure that the education program serves the needs of 
CHF BC members.  
There are two education committees: one for the Mainland, and one for Vancouver Island.

Finance – monitors the Federation’s finances and provides advice to the board on the annual budget, audited financial statements, investments and other financial matters.  
The finance committee consists of the treasurer, any other directors appointed by the board, and two persons elected at large by delegates at the annual meeting.
