CHF BC Election Central

CHF BC invited the BC Liberals, BC NDP, and the Green Party to participate in our Election Forum at CHF BC's 2009 semi annual general meeting on May 2.  Pictured here are Diane Thorne (NDP) MLA for Coquitlam-Maillardville and Opposition Critic for Housing,  and Carrie McLaren (Green), candidate for Burnaby Edmonds.   The balloon represents the Liberals, who did not send a representative.

Pine Ridge Housing Co-op hosted a candidate meet and greet event on May 6.   Pictured are Raj Chouhan (NDP), MLA for Burnaby Edmonds, and Helen Chang (Green), candidate for Burnaby Lougheed.   Again, a balloon is standing in for the BC Liberals, who were absent.

Raj Chouhan speaks with guests at the Pine Ridge meet and greet event.

The Liberal candidate at the Pine Ridge meet and greet apparently approves of our 'Co-op Housing Matters' campaign proposals!

CHF BC's government relations director, Darren Kitchen, asks a co-op housing question at a Vancouver Hastings All-Candidates meeting on May 7.

Co-op members attend CHF BC's Election Meet and Greet event held May 8th in Victoria.

Attending the Victoria meeting (from left) were Jane Sterk, the Green Party leader and candidate for Esquimalt - Royal Roads; Lana Popham, NDP candidate for Saanich South; Rob Fleming, NDP candidate for Victoria-Swan Lake; and Adam Saab, Green candidate for Victoria - Beacon Hill.
