CHF BC informs the general public through public displays, presentations and events to promote community understanding of the co-op housing movement.

CHF BC also actively lobbies elected representatives and government ministers to promote the co-op movement, better housing conditions in BC, and the development of more affordable housing, including co-ops.

CHF BC also lobbies on behalf of housing co-ops that require assistance, such as leaky co-ops.
