Harbour Cove Co-op

Harbour Cove Co-operative consists of 21 suites located in the vibrant Granville Island neighbourhood, close to shopping, transit, restaurants, school, the Vancouver Aquatic Centre and the False Creek Community Centre. Our Co-op is unique in that it is embedded within the Harbour Cove Strata Title Project - a 305 unit luxury condominium. Harbour Cove Co-op is physically separated from the Strata with its own entrance, elevator, common areas and storage on the first four floors on the East End South-facing side of the larger building envelope.

We enjoy spacious and modern, south-facing one, two and three-bedroom suites, set amidst professionally maintained gardens. First floor units all feature patios, while the second, third and fourth floors offer large balconies. The building has secure underground parking and bike storage. The Co-op has private laundry facilities on the first floor. The five suites designated for members with disabilities (2 one-bedroom, 2 two-bedroom, and 1 three-bedroom) have in-suite washers and dryers provided by the Co-op.

All Co-op members must participate in the maintenance and governance of the Co-op through Committee work, and through attendance at the monthly General Meeting. In total, members contribute between 3 to 10 hours per month, depending on the time of year and duties (e.g. spring cleaning). This contribution is one way that makes co-operative living unique, so please consider how you would like to contribute before applying.

There is a mandatory share purchase of $3500.00 in the Co-operative when candidates for Harbour Cove Co-Operative are accepted for membership. A monthly housing or occupancy charge takes the place of rent. The charge is used to cover the mortgage payment and operating expenses. Harbour Cove Co-op features a diverse membership of age, family make-up, income, ability, and cultural background. We are a non-smoking Co-op, and there is a building-wide no pet policy.
