We are pleased to announce that Laura Soucy has accepted the position of Operations Manager at COHO Management Services Society. With almost twenty years of experience serving BC’s housing co-operatives, Laura will lead the team responsible for delivering high quality, effective and efficient management services to COHO’s clients. Laura joined COHO in December 2003, and quickly became one of COHO’s top performers, moving to the role of Team Leader and most recently to serve as our Staff Development Manager. Laura has a long history with COHO and has expert knowledge of the co-op sector’s best practices in good governance and sound management.
When Nicole Ferrari joined COHO in 2018, she brought with her a solid background in assembling teams that align with an organization’s mission. Since then she has passed the knowledge exam to be become a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) and we are pleased that she has assumed the responsibilities of the Human Resources Manager for CHF BC’s group of social enterprises: CHF BC, Community Land Trust (CLT) and COHO Management Services Society.
CHF BC’s Chief Operating Officer, Michelle Cooper-Iversen, is really excited for Nicole and Laura. “Both have brought huge levels of commitment and innovation to the CHF BC group. They have been highly influential in our operations and I’m pleased that the opportunity arose where they can take on more responsibility and grow in their respective careers.”
