CHF Canada’s Annual Meeting is coming up in June. Has your co-op registered its delegate yet?
This year’s national AGM runs from June 10 to 13 and is packed with education, networking and a chance to learn more about the national co-op housing movement. Check out the website to see all the options.
This AGM will also feature an unusual election. There are SIX at-large seats up for grabs on the CHF Canada board and the list of candidates includes three very strong contenders from British Columbia. See the complete list of at-large candidates here and look for Anne Davidson (Granville Gardens), Lindsey Murphy (Inti), and Sahara Shaik (Wit’s End). Marcelo Cohen (Athletes Village) is also running for a seat on the Finance Committee.
BC has always enjoyed strong representation at the national level, and this is your chance to help make sure that continues.
We encourage every CHF Canada member co-op to register for the AGM and vote in the election. And if your co-op isn’t a member of CHF Canada, there has never been a better time to join.
