CHF Canada Annual Meeting 2022

CHF Canada      16 Jun 2022      Halifax      CHF BC event

CHF Canada’s Annual Meeting is happening June 16-18, 2022, in beautiful Halifax at the new Halifax Convention Centre. We look forward to being Together Again!

Our first in-person Annual Meeting in two years will be your chance to safely learn, network and contribute to the direction of Canada’s co-operative housing movement.

This year’s much-anticipated Annual Meeting will leave you inspired and full of great ideas to take back to your co-op. Co-op managers and staff will benefit from leading-edge training and professional development.

Highlights include:

  • 50+ workshops
  • 30+ tradeshow exhibitors
  • 500+ attendees
  • Social events
  • Door prizes

We hope to see you in Halifax!

Registration and workshop information is set to launch March 1.

We will be holding the 2022 Annual Meeting on the traditional land of the Mi’kmaq. We acknowledge the lands to show respect for Indigenous Peoples, past and present, who continue to call these lands home. Building relationships with recognition and respect are key to reconciliation, a process to which CHF Canada is committed.

COVID-19 Precautions

CHF Canada is following all public health orders in the planning and delivery of our conference. Please note, all conference attendees, volunteers and staff will be required to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 (at least two weeks prior to June 16, 2022) and wear a mask while indoors at the Halifax Convention Centre. These rules are subject to change as required by public health orders. Please see our Covid-19 Safety page for more information.

We suggest you make any travel and accommodation plans with as much flexibility as possible, because the pandemic situation is evolving and as much as we are hoping for an in-person event, if things deteriorate or local rules shift, we may need to go virtual.

We are actively monitoring the COVID-19 situation and will announce any changes (with refunds) if necessary, but we hope to be able to gather together again in person this spring to learn, network and advocate for co-op housing.
