Join us for our first in person education event on the island since 2019, and be a part of our ongoing mission to unite, represent and serve our members in a thriving co-operative housing movement.
This event is an exciting opportunity to celebrate CHF BC’s 40th anniversary and the 20th anniversary of when the Vancouver Island Co-op Housing Association (VICHA) merged with CHF BC.
We’ve been working efficiently and effectively for the past two years but at the heart of co-op housing is a sense of connectedness and community. In these past few years, the pandemic has certainly put on strain on this, but co-op members around BC have shown that through their resiliency and strength, they can overcome any challenges their way.
That is why, our theme this year is:
Rebuilding Social Connectedness After Two Years.
We will be offering popular workshops such as Ask The Lawyers – Sublets, Roommates, and Occupancy Standards and presenting new workshops such as Rebuilding Social Connectedness and Participation Post-COVID-19. This session will provide attendees with new frameworks, concrete strategies, and practical resources housing co-ops can actively adopt for reviving connections.
To find out more about these workshops and the other workshops we will be offering, please review the following:
