Rebuilding Co-op Community Post Pandemic

This interactive, online session is designed to engage and inform co-ops on strategies for social connectedness and fun in a post-pandemic world.

We have heard from many co-operators across the country that their communities are in need of energy and innovation to connect & rebuild. In this 90-minute workshop, participants will receive information on approaches to community engagement, connect with one another to co-create definitions of community and envision strategies to implement in their own co-ops, and hear from other co-ops about their visions and plans to rebuild community.

 

Facilitator: Sylvia Cheuy, Tamarack Institute
Sylvia is the Consulting Director of Collective Impact at the Tamarack Institute, where she spearheaded the creation of their Deepening Community team. She is also an avid gardener, a mother to 3, and a community activist.

This event is in partnership with: Community Housing Transformation Centre, CHF BC, SACHA, COCHF, CHASEO,  GHCHF, NACHA, CHFT, PHCHF, and CHF Canada.

The learnings from this session will be collected to inform a shared resource for all co-ops with creative ideas for community building, fun, and reconnecting.
