Vancouver Leases 2020 (#1) – Discussion Paper Review

CHF BC event CHF BC will host two meetings in the first half of June to discuss the renewal of housing co-op leases with the City of Vancouver.
The first meeting will take place on June 1, between 6 pm and 8 pm PDT. We will begin with a brief review of the City’s January 2020 discussion paper. We’ll then share with you the results of our detailed analysis of the options included in the paper, based on data shared with us by several leasehold co-ops. Your questions and comments will be welcome as we work toward a common understanding of what the City’s framework means for co-ops waiting to renew their leases.

The second meeting will focus on options and potential responses to the City’s proposals.
In advance of the meeting, you might want to take a look at the City’s Discussion Paper, or participate in the City’s survey, which remains open for comments until June 30, 2020.
