One change-maker close to home for housing co-ops is Alexandra Wilson, board member for The Cooperators and the International Co-operative Alliance (ICA) and CEO of the Agency for Co-operative Housing.

CHF BC and Community Land Trust are working with BC Society of Transition Houses to increase access to permanently affordable housing for women leaving violence. Our Domestic Violence Relief Fund gets support from the Canadian Women’s Foundation, one of the charitable groups mentioned in this article, “10 Ways We All Need to Advance Gender Equality Today.”
