The democratic structure of a housing co-op is dependent on member engagement. But what exactly is the role of the general membership? What parts do they play in making sure that the co-op is well governed and soundly managed? Let’s get beyond ‘participation’ and create a foundation for real member involvement.

Secretary Survival Skills – May 9

The secretary works with the board chair, other directors and management staff to fulfill co-op secretarial duties. This workshop will provide an overview of the main secretarial functions in the context of a housing co-op.

Join our Dementia Friends Workshop, where small gestures create big impacts. Our workshop is designed to empower you with the knowledge and tools to make a difference in the lives of those living with dementia. There is NO COST for this workshop.

• Workshops take place weekday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. PST.

Online Registration

• Member rates are $45/person or $200 for six registrations from one co-op or organization.

• Non-member rates are $90/person or $400 for six registrations from one co-op or organization.
