Write a haiku to celebrate Co-op Week!

  Fiona Jackson      10 October 2018

October 14 to 20 is Co-op Week.

We challenge all co-op members to celebrate Co-op Week by writing a haiku. The traditional Japanese form of poetry consists of 17 syllables in three lines of 5, 7, 5 syllables.

What do you love about your co-op and co-op living?

Need inspiration? Take a look at the international co-op principles.

Here’s our first example to inspire you (by Ed):

When joined together
Cooperation lifts us
From isolation

Please share your co-op haiku with us on Instagram and/or Facebook, tag us @chfbc and use the hashtag #coopweek.

If you are not on social media, email your haiku to us at members@chf.bc.ca and we’ll share it for you.
