Situated on a hillside overlooking the Fraser River in New Westminster, British Columbia, Queen's Avenue Housing Co-op is a thirty-one unit housing co-op. The co-op was established in 1986. At present, there are between 80 – 90 people living at the co-op, ranging in age from babies to seniors. Children, teenagers and young adults are valued members of our co-op community. Close to shopping, SkyTrain, schools. Heat and hot water from central boilers (cost included). Active participation is required.
Each suite has the following: Appliances included: Fridge, Stove; Full bathrooms; Patio(s) or Balcony(ies); Radiant baseboard heating (from central boilers); 1-2 secure underground parking spots; Hook-ups for a dishwasher (dishwasher not provided) Hook ups for washer/dryer and a laundry room (washer/dryer not provided). Ample storage space in units. On-site coin operated laundry. Small garden plot.
