Inti is a small well maintained co-op located in the heart of Kitsilano, on Cypress Street at W 1st Avenue. The area is extremely walkable with easy access to Kits Point, Kits beach, the seawall, a leash free park, Granville Island, Vanier Park and Bard on the Beach, Vancouver Museum, the Vancouver planetarium, the Maritime Museum and W 4th shops.
All of these attractions are also accessible by wheelchair.
We are a Rick Hansen Foundation Certified building and offer 5 accessible units and members are allowed 2 well behaved pets.
Participation is mandatory. We have several committees for you to choose from including the garden committee (we have a large lush garden), the maintenance committee, the membership committee, the Board of Directors, and the kitchen renewal committee.
In 2008, Inti was rainscreened. The work also included a new roof and new windows. We particularly encourage applications for our wheelchair accessible units. These units have wide doorways, a wheel-in shower and lower counters.
