We’re excited to welcome you to this year’s CHF BC Fall Online Education Conference on Saturday, October 31, 2020 from 8:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The conference will build on the theme of increasing awareness, strengthening inclusion, and will include:

  • An engaging opening plenary session:
There are many lessons we can learn from the co-operative history and practices of BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, Persons of Colour) communities.  We have assembled a panel of Black and Indigenous anti-racism educators and co-op managers for a conversation on the roots and impacts of systemic racism and colonialism in our society and the role that co-ops can play in moving toward meaningful allyship with these communities. Learn more here.
  • Your choice of ten workshops on a variety of topics ranging from Building Co-operative Communities, to Leadership Renewal for Co-op Boards, to holding Courageous Anti-racism Conversations; and finally,
  • Member discussion groups where members can chat with other members around topics of interest.

Watch for the flyer coming in the mail to your co-op, download the flyer here and see a full list of workshop descriptions here.
