Our group buying program offers big savings on products and services that co-ops use every day.
We provide co-ops with deals on waste management, cabinets and countertops, flooring, maintenance supplies, banking and appliances. Individual households in member co-ops can benefit from our telecom services (HDTV, high-speed internet, home phone and fibre optic upgrades).
Co-ops using CHF BC group buying partners are exempted from CMHC and BC Housing requirements for getting three quotes. We’ve already done the work for you!
We offer province-wide service and delivery through our partner, Trail Appliances. Trail provides high-quality, durable products, including a number of Energy Star options.
Our special CHF BC pricing means members can take advantage of volume savings even when they have a small order.
Co-ops have access to a variety of appliances through our program: fridges; electric and gas ranges; dishwashers, garburators and hood fans.
Housing co-ops with money in the Co-op Housing Interest Pool (CHIP) earn higher interest on the balances in their co-op operating accounts.
CHIP turns several small co-op accounts into one large depositor, making each eligible for better interest rates. With more than $140 million on deposit through Vancity, CCEC Credit Union and Coast Capital, CHIP is one of our most popular services.
