The provincial Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) came into force on January 1, 2004 for all organizations in BC not covered by other privacy legislation. To help your housing co-op comply with PIPA, we are pleased to provide a dozen Privacy Act tools.

Our sample policies on the web support our members to make sure that their housing co-op’s policies comply with the Rules adopted by their co-op and with the Co-operative Association Act. You will find sample polices that you can adapt, suggested committee job descriptions as well as supporting resources in the areas of maintenance, membership, finance, community and board governance.
