VCLTF
The Vancouver Community Land Trust Foundation (VCLTF) was established in 2014 as a community land trust focused on work in the City of Vancouver. It's the key player in the Four Sites project, a ground-breaking development involving the City, the co-op and non-profit housing sector, and others.
In all, the consortium is developing 358 units of housing affordable to a broad range of Vancouver residents, from the most vulnerable to those who simply need an affordable place to call home.
The City provides 99-year leases on four City-owned sites to VCLTF who in turns develops the land, and the finished buildings will then be operated by the partners: Fraserview Housing Co-operative, Tikva Housing Society and Sanford Housing Society.
