Yuri Artibise

Yuri Artibise is the Communications Director for CHF BC. After his role as board member for many years, most recently serving as treasurer, Yuri is known to many long term members of CHF BC.

Yuri is an experienced co-operative leader who has served the co-operative housing sector in many capacities. In addition to his CHF BC board work, His co-operative housing involvement includes being a original resident member, and serving on the inaugural board, of First Avenue Athletes Village Housing Co-operative in Vancouver, where he currently serves as treasurer. Yuri also serves on the board of Rooftops Canada, as CHF Canada’s western representative.

With over 20 years of work experience and a Masters in Public Administration, Yuri is an experienced communications officer, public policy advisor, and community engagement professional with experience working for federal, provincial and local governments.

Yuri is also a trained health and well-being coach and is an active volunteer with the MS Society of Canada. In his spare time, you will find Yuri enjoying a craft beer at one of our province’s local breweries, discovering new neighbourhoods, or working on his latest LEGO creation.

Yuri will be part of the Looking Ahead – The Social Impact of Housing Co-operative at the 2022 Spring Education Conference.
