CHF BC’s Fall Education Conference was held on October 18 in Burnaby. It was yet another sold out event.
In fact, one new workshop, regarding new Privacy legislation, was so popular that CHF BC secured a larger room to double the number of available seats. Don’t worry if you missed it. This important workshop will be offered again.
During the lunch hour attendees celebrated BC Co-op Housing Day with a proclamation ceremony and a Co-op Kid’s art contest. Peter Bruckmann from the BC Co-operative Association shared the podium with co-op kids who had submitted art and spoke about youth in co-ops and about Camp Rainbow which he runs for BCCA. Co-op Housing Day activities were co-sponsored by CHF BC and CHF Canada. Stay ‘tuned’ to this website for pictures of the kids’ art.
