6 – 8:30p.m. PDT

Learn all about youth-led solutions to local climate challenges from the second cohort of CityHive’s Youth Climate Innovation Lab!

Ever wonder what would happen if youth were in charge of solving climate challenges?

What innovative and creative solutions would they come up with?

Join us on Thursday, August 31st to hear from the third cohort of CityHive’s Youth Climate Innovation Lab! Over the past few months, the cohort members have been working closely with community partners and climate leaders on real climate projects, and this event will showcase their innovations to the public.

The Youth Climate Innovation Lab program is for youth ages 18-30 living across Metro Vancouver to collaborate with municipalities, civic institutions and community organizations to create bold actions that address local climate challenges and advance a just transition.

The third cohort of the Youth Climate Innovation Lab’s theme is Reimagining Climate Resilience. The youth participants learned about and worked on projects to address climate extremes and make our city more resilient to climate change. The projects were provided by the City of Vancouver and the Worker Solidarity Network.
