Despite short notice, 15 of 22 Island Section 95 co-ops registered for the Section 95 Subsidy crisis meeting held in Victoria on September 27.
There was standing room only at the meeting. Island members showed a clear understanding of the issue, discussed the impact on their co-ops, and offered suggestions and support for the challenges ahead and the lobby effort needed to pressure Minister Fontana to follow through on his commitment to fix the Section 95 problem.
