Backup Your ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager Data

Need or want to make a copy of all the property data in your ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager account? There are just a few steps.

Download your entire portfolio in one file

If you have fewer than 100 properties in your Portfolio Manager account, you can download your entire portfolio.

  1. Log into ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager.
  2. On the MyPortfolio page, scroll down to the “Manage Portfolio” section on the left side of the page.
  3. Click “Download your entire portfolio to Excel”.

Download your entire portfolio in batches

If you have more than 100 properties in Portfolio Manager, you will need to create a Custom Download.

  1. Log into ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager.
  2. On the MyPortfolio page, scroll down to the “Manage Portfolio” section on the left side of the page.
  3. Click “Custom download”.
  4. You will be prompted to select the properties you want data for and which types of data to include. For example, you can choose to download data by property or by meter. You can download up to 1,000,000 rows at a time.
  5. Make your selections and then click “Submit”.
  6. Repeat this process until you have downloaded data for all your properties.
