Privacy Tools Act

Our Privacy Act Tools will help your housing co-op comply with the provincial Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) which came into force on January 1, 2004, for all organizations in BC not covered by other privacy legislation.

Find the Privacy Act Tools here

Our sample Policies on the Web support our members to make sure that their housing co-op’s policies comply with the Rules adopted by their co-op and with the Cooperative Association Act. You will find sample polices that you can adapt, suggested committee job descriptions as well as supporting resources in the areas of maintenance, membership, finance, community and board governance.
