Rooftops Canada is seeking four (4) qualified candidates to participate in our 6-month Young Professionals (YP) Overseas Placement Program.

This is part of their five-year project “Women’s Spaces: Implementing Equal Rights to Land, Housing and Livelihoods” in Angola, Kenya, South Africa, and Uganda.

Considering the significance of affordable and quality community housing and the need for leadership succession in Indigenous communities for the purposes of developing and maintaining quality affordable housing, the Centre is pleased to introduce a program for Indigenous Internship. 

The program is aimed at refining skills, professional development, and knowledge of the community housing sector among early career professionals who identify as Indigenous. The objective is to encourage and nurture future Indigenous leaders in the community housing sector.

CHF BC is committed to expose our membership to emerging issues and innovative ideas, and pursue ongoing learning.

To this end, we are reaching out to the wider housing, social and non-profit community sector with an invitation to submit education conference workshop proposals

The National Education Committee released a Request for Proposals for a project on equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI).

This work has emerged as a priority. The goal is to support the co-op housing sector in implementing best EDI practices in co-op communities.
